Rebar Detailing Manager

We are searching for Detailing Manager.

Basic responsibilities of Detailing Manager include:

  • Assign all detailing work to an appropriate detailer
  • Supervisor productivity and work quality of detailers to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality of presentation
  • Manage the contacts between detailers and customers’ offices or job sites
  • Manage the assignment of detailing to outside vendors
  • Review all extras and changes to contracts being detailed in-house or by outside vendors
  • Coordinate with sales personnel
  • Review and approve all invoices from vendors
  • Manage performance appraisal process
  • Provide consulting services to other company’s locations
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training of new detailers
  • Keep apprised of any technological developments in detailing methodology and equipment, and make appropriate recommendations
  • Produce reports as needed
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of CRSI and the Manual of Standard Practice
Qualifications for the positions include:
  • Vocational certification in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college, or equivalent
  • 10+ years’ experience as a rebar detailer or equivalent industry experience with at least 6+ years’ experience with Rebar CAD or other CAD based detailing system
  • 3+ years’ experience as a supervisor of detailers
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong commitment to safety in all job aspects
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to analyze and think strategically
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Occasional travel may be required, including an overnight stay
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Two year technical degree from an accredited school or college
