Duties / Responsibilities

We are searching for an Account Manager to join our client’s growing team. Basic responsibilities of the Account Manager include:
  • Selling and servicing a broad existing customer base in the Southeast
  • Developing new customers, including OEM’s and service centers
  • Developing new markets and products that will maximize mill performance and profitability
  • Working with inside sales, production and metallurgical personnel to meet customer needs
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications for the position include:
  • 3+ years experience in the steel industry with sales experience in coil
  • Ability and willingness to travel and average of 3 nights per week
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent interpersonal kills
  • Ability to work well without direct supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Highly motivated and cost-driven
  • Goal oriented
  • Team player
  • Readily adaptable to change
  • Solid analytical abilities
  • Strong computer skills, especially at Microsoft Suite Applications
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a 4-year college degree in a related field and rebar and/or MBQ sales and marketing experience.
