Assistant Project Manager – High-Rise & Hospitality Construction

About the Opportunity

A premier general contractor is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of high-rise and hospitality construction projects. This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to advance into a leadership position while gaining experience on large-scale, complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Support field teams and Superintendents in ensuring quality control and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Track project costs and assist in managing financial reports and forecasting.
  • Use project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6) to monitor progress and maintain organization.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of commercial construction experience, preferably in high-rise or hospitality projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of MEP coordination, structural concrete, and finishes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, P6) is a plus.
