Assistant Project Manager – Ground-Up Construction – Moline, IL

A highly respected general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team on a $140 million ground-up construction project in Moline, Illinois. This is a major multi-sector development and an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to gain valuable experience on a high-profile build with long-term growth potential.

About the Role:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager and on-site leadership to support all phases of construction. This includes coordination with subcontractors, scheduling, documentation, budgeting, and ensuring project milestones are met. You’ll be an integral part of a collaborative and solution-oriented team delivering complex and high-profile infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination.

• Track subcontractor progress and manage documentation.

• Communicate with vendors, engineers, and field teams.

• Support RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists.

• Help monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in commercial or civil construction.

• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, P6, Bluebeam, etc.).

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Passion for delivering quality construction projects safely and efficiently.
