Title: Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000

Location: Washington D.C.

We are collaborating with a very reputable general contractor – a successful 30-year commercial construction company rooted in the Mid-Atlantic. We are currently seeking a passionate Assistant Project Manager who is hungry for growth and thrives on orchestrating construction projects between $10M and $70M.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capable of being involved in every phase of a project
• Write and issue change order requests
• Prepare and track monthly budget and reports
• Request and write RFI’s, review submittals and ensure execution
• Build and manage construction schedules
• Communicate with superintendent to ensure all conditions of the contract are being met and there is efficient and effective utilization of labor, materials, plant, and equipment within the allocated budgets
• Ensure that a highly skilled and disciplined workforce is maintained within a safe system of work by subcontractors
• Prepare subcontractor agreements and final close out documentation
• Communicates and works closely with safety and quality control team to ensure full compliance on the job site.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
