Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Structural Engineer. The successful candidate will provide leadership and mentoring to civil and structural engineering services personnel in consultation with the Manager and Assistant Managers of the Engineering Department. Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and mentoring to civil and structural engineering services personnel.

• Serve as a technical expert in structural engineering practices, developing proposals and recommendations for management.

• Advise management staff on engineering projects and technical factors restricting or limiting operating departmental proposals.

• Manage projects, including planning, construction, operations, and maintenance activities.

• Perform engineering studies of building and equipment layouts to determine optimum arrangements based on analysis of operating and capital costs, processing yields and losses, process time, and manpower costs.

• Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a focus in Structural Design.

• 2‐3 years of structural design experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

• Licensed as a Civil Professional Engineer in the State of California.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze technical issues effectively.

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.

• Dependability and commitment to fulfilling obligations in a timely manner.
