About the Role: We are conducting a search for a Director of Construction to join a rapidly expanding team. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct access to the CEO and a clear path to a future VP position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial, retail, and interior fit-out projects and a background in general contracting.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Provide strategic leadership and direction for a growing team of project managers, superintendents, and construction professionals.

Work closely with the CEO and executive leadership to shape the company’s growth strategy and operational processes.

Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive successful project execution.

Implement best practices, safety standards, and operational efficiencies to optimize project delivery.

Identify and mentor emerging talent within the organization to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Qualifications:
-
Candidates must have prior experience in a general contracting environment; Owner’s Representative candidates will also be considered.

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction management with a proven track record in commercial, retail, and interior fit-out projects.

Experience in a senior leadership role such as Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Director of Operations, or Senior Superintendent.

Strong understanding of construction operations, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and lead a dynamic team.
