We are currently hiring a Electrical Engineer to join our client’s growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant-wide electrical systems and equipment
• Support production by ensuring electrical systems operate reliably and efficiently
• Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime
• Assist in training and documentation for equipment and procedures
• Uphold safety standards and contribute to a clean, hazard-free work environment
• Collaborate with other departments to improve reliability and performance
• Participate in project planning and execution when required
• Work a flexible schedule, including rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (completed or expected by May 2025)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays during scheduled shutdowns or operational needs
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, automation, and power systems
• Familiarity with:
  • Drive control systems
  • PLC hardware/software
  • Ethernet-based control systems
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Desire and ability to grow professionally within the organization
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical maintenance in a steel mill or similar industrial setting
• Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, ANSI, and IEEE standards
• Experience with arc flash analysis, short circuit studies, and relay coordination
• Background in project management is a plus
