Electrical Estimator – Commercial & Institutional Projects

📍 Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC | In-Office | 4-Day Workweek

A long-established and well-respected electrical contractor in the Raleigh-Durham area is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join its growing team. With more than six decades of work in the region, this company is known for its technical project expertise, stable backlog, and collaborative internal culture.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in electrical estimating for commercial, institutional, or industrial projects and be ready to make an immediate impact.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed electrical takeoffs and full-scope estimates for complex projects

• Collaborate with project managers and field leaders to ensure seamless project handoff

• Engage in budgeting, pricing, and design-assist processes for design-build projects

• Work with vendors and subcontractors to analyze pricing and scope

• Balance multiple active bids while maintaining accuracy and deadlines

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating

• Ability to independently manage estimates from takeoff through submission

• Strong working knowledge of estimating software tools

• Prefer experience with an electrical subcontractor (GC background acceptable with relevant experience)

• Clear communicator who works well in a team-oriented environment
