Are you a detail-oriented Estimator with a passion for the industrial construction market? One of Chicago’s most established and respected commercial builders is looking to add an Estimator to their growing team. With a history dating back to 1927, this design-build firm is a leader in industrial, warehouse, cold storage, and logistics facility development across the greater Chicago region.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial and commercial projects (cold storage, distribution centers, warehouses, etc.).

• Review architectural and engineering drawings, scopes of work, and subcontractor/vendor bids.

• Assist in value engineering, preconstruction planning, and budgeting.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients throughout the preconstruction phase.

• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost data.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in estimating for commercial/industrial construction projects.

• Light industrial and excavation estimating experience is required.
  Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

• Background with design-build projects is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scopes, and systems.

• Experience with estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Timberline, or similar).

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
