Project Manager – Industrial Construction

A well-established and growing general contractor based in the Midwest is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Des Moines, Iowa. This firm is known for delivering high-quality ground-up industrial, Commercial, and Agricultural construction projects across the region, including large-scale warehouses, manufacturing facilities, food processing plants, and other complex builds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and budget

• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

• Oversee project scheduling, procurement, and site logistics planning

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications

• Conduct regular site visits and team meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction

• Proven track record of managing ground-up industrial projects

• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and budgeting

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
