Onsite Sales Representative (Construction Supply)

Our client is a very well-respected regional construction supply distributor headquartered in the Southeast who has been requested by a top contractor client to plant their flag in Columbus, OH, beginning with a location on a multi-billion-dollar, high-profile project site.

Highlights:

  • Base salary + uncapped commission – incredible earning opportunity for a hungry, motivated, salesperson to clear $100k in their first year (and potentially much, much more).
  • Opportunity to start a new location here in Columbus with big backing and built in demand.
  • This is a family owned company, that is small enough to care for every client and big enough to offer the types of solutions their clients need. You will work directly with the two company owners.
  • This company is expanding from 4 locations to 6 in 2025, and looking to grow to 12+ in the future.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and contractors on a high-profile project site

  • Visit customers and potential clients onsite to assess needs and build relationships

  • Prepare and write up accurate sales orders

  • Provide product quotes in a timely and professional manner

  • Receive, organize, and properly store incoming inventory

  • Perform weekly inventory counts and reorder stock as needed

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

  • Manage onsite deliveries to ensure timely and accurate product drop-offs

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with product inquiries and order updates

  • Maintain company vehicle/forklift to ensure safety and operational readiness.
