Overview:
A leading, privately held flat-rolled steel service center is seeking experienced outside sales professionals to join its growing commercial team. This is an ideal opportunity for a self-driven producer looking for more freedom, strong operational support, and a highly competitive commission structure.
Current Hiring Locations:
We are actively hiring for outside sales roles in the following territories:
Indiana, Nebraska, Illinois (Chicago area), Kentucky, and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW)
What You’ll Sell:

Hot Rolled & Hot Rolled Pickled & Oiled (HR / HRPO) sheet and plate… At least 1,000 tons/month

Commissionable tons capped at 650 tons per customer per quarter

Cut-to-length capabilities, rapid turnarounds, and reliable logistics
What We’re Looking For:

Proven outside sales success in steel service centers

Active book of business in steel sheet and plate.

High integrity, low-drama, independent mindset
-
Desire to focus on selling rather than navigating red tape
Compensation:
-
$80k–$120k+ base salary (depending on experience)… OTE can be over $200k/year

$2/ton commission on quarterly sales up to 650 tons per customer
