Project Manager – Commercial Construction

A leading general contractor with a 100+ year legacy of building in the Midwest is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-profile commercial construction projects. This firm is known for its commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and client relationships, and has earned a reputation as one of Wisconsin’s most trusted builders.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, relationship-driven leader to manage project delivery from start to finish—on time, on budget, and above expectations. Candidates with self-perform construction experience will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project management from preconstruction through closeout

• Maintain accurate project schedules, budgets, and cost controls

• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

• Manage contracts, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and safety protocols

• Oversee field operations and ensure quality workmanship

• Mentor and guide assistant project managers and support staff

• Champion safety, productivity, and jobsite culture

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience ($10M+)

• Prior experience with self-perform construction teams (e.g., concrete, carpentry, demolition, etc.)

• Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar project management software

• Strong understanding of local building codes, OSHA standards, and best practices

• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

• Willingness to travel to project sites throughout the region
