Job Summary:
A confidential organization in the metal building industry is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee building orders from contract to completion. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between customers, sales teams, and internal departments as projects move through the company’s processes. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for project scope, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
Education:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction or a design-related field preferred.
Experience:
-
10–15 years of project management experience in the metal building industry.

Proficiency with Bluebeam and ERP systems.
-
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
-
Review and compare quotes, contracts, drawings, and specifications to identify discrepancies or missing information.

Maintain and update engineering work orders throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage change orders to ensure both customer satisfaction and the company’s financial interests.

Utilize and maintain proficiency in project management tools and systems (e.g., ERP and proprietary software).

Create and manage contract records and documentation.

Process material requirements for components such as preassembled walk doors, roof curbs, and specialty items.

Mentor and support training for new Project Managers; serve as a backup for leadership roles as needed.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders on complex issues and lead problem resolution.

Provide support for high-profile or complex orders across multiple territories.
