Project Manager – Water/Wastewater Construction
A leading construction firm with a substantial backlog exceeding $1 billion is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager specializing in water and wastewater treatment plant projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex, large-scale infrastructure projects, with a proven ability to oversee project timelines, budgets, and team coordination to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of project management for water/wastewater treatment projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring that each phase aligns with client expectations and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to maintain project momentum and resolve issues.
- Monitor project performance, conduct regular site visits, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Utilize project management software to track progress, report updates, and forecast project needs.
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on achieving shared goals and meeting deadlines effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a preference for experience in water/wastewater or heavy civil infrastructure.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- PMP certification is a plus.
