Duties / Responsibilities

We are searching for Quality Supervisor to join our client’s growing team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Lead Quality team in our St. Joe, IN division
2. Implementation of product or customer specifications, quality norms and procedures
3. Develop procedures, instructions and specifications to ensure quality system conformity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and A2LA ISO 17025.
4. Coordinate and organize the execution of external audits and internal, supplier audits and vendor’s qualifications under UL and maintain strong link with commercial and operating teams relative to customer needs and technical services
5. Application of Six Sigma tools to improve process capability, eliminate defects, along with implementing/generating Quality KPIs and reviewing trends to develop action plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Technical Degree in a related field (e.g., Automotive Management/Engineering, Industrial, Metallurgical, Materials, or Mechanical) or ASQ Certification
• Three (3) years or more manufacturing and/or quality control/systems experience including hands-on experience in conducting mechanical and dimensional tests in an industrial setting

Preferred Qualifications:
• Current and/or prior experience in quality, operations or manufacturing in the fasteners, steel or automotive industry
• Knowledge & application of ISO, IATF 16949 & A2LA ISO 17025
• Previous experience leading a team
• Demonstrated ability to effectively apply ASME, ASTM, ISO, and other relevant product and testing specifications to ensure compliance in at least 3 previous projects or assignments within a manufacturing or engineering context
