Job Title: Safety Coordinator

About the Opportunity:
A well-established electrical contracting firm is looking for a Safety Coordinator to support its growing safety initiatives. This role will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring the company’s safety programs.

• Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and report findings to leadership.

• Support training efforts by coordinating safety meetings and assisting with educational programs.

• Assist with incident investigations and documentation of corrective actions.

• Maintain safety records and ensure compliance with OSHA and company requirements.

• Collaborate with field teams to reinforce safety best practices and procedures.

• Provide on-site safety support and guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a safety-related role within construction.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field (preferred).

• Knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and leadership.

• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain.
