Job Title: Safety Manager

About the Opportunity:
A leading electrical contracting and engineering firm is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enhance its safety program. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining safety policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a culture of safety across multiple job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, particularly within electrical contracting or general contracting environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies.

• Conduct regular job site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

• Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures, regulations, and best practices.

• Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters, including regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain and update safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.

• Collaborate with project teams to proactively address safety concerns and improve job site conditions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety, preferably in electrical contracting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), or similar certification is a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and other industry safety standards.

• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills.

• Ability to analyze data and trends to drive continuous safety improvements.
