A growing, well-established distributor is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to develop and manage a defined territory in the Columbus market.
This is a field-based role focused on new business development and account growth within the contractor, municipal, and industrial customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Build and grow a territory through consistent prospecting and customer visits
- Develop new business while expanding existing accounts
- Conduct 10+ customer visits per day (job sites, shops, offices)
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through close
- Collaborate with internal teams on quoting, product support, and fulfillment
Qualifications:
- 1–5+ years of B2B sales experience
- Outside sales experience preferred; strong inside reps looking to move outside are encouraged to apply
- Ability to operate in a high-activity, field-driven environment
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Experience in construction supply, industrial distribution, or related industries is a plus
