Superintendent

A growing employee-owned design-build contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join its expanding Greenville, SC office.

This organization specializes in industrial and manufacturing construction with a strong focus on food & beverage, processing, cold storage, and distribution facilities. Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from project startup through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules in partnership with project management.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
• Conduct daily site walks and proactively address schedule, safety, and quality concerns.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate site logistics.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project management and leadership.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and field records.
• Foster a positive jobsite culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Industrial, manufacturing, food & beverage, processing, cold storage, or distribution experience strongly preferred.
• Candidates with strong ground-up commercial construction experience will also be considered.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, site safety, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as required based on project needs is a plus.
