Our client is seeking a Process Engineer to join their Melt Shop operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with production planning and operations leaders to improve manufacturing efficiency, optimize scheduling, and drive continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with production planning teams to develop and optimize production schedules
- Coordinate material handling activities to ensure efficient operations
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Support Melt Shop operations through data analysis and process optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and operational performance
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to achieve production goals
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement solutions to improve results
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another STEM-related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred
- Metallurgical engineering background
- Experience in steel, metals, or heavy industrial manufacturing
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing environments
- Experience with process improvement, production planning, or operations support
Recent Graduates Encouraged to Apply
