A growing, well-established distributor is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to develop and manage a defined territory in the Columbus market.

This is a field-based role focused on new business development and account growth within the contractor, municipal, and industrial customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow a territory through consistent prospecting and customer visits
  • Develop new business while expanding existing accounts
  • Conduct 10+ customer visits per day (job sites, shops, offices)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through close
  • Collaborate with internal teams on quoting, product support, and fulfillment

Qualifications:

  • 1–5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Outside sales experience preferred; strong inside reps looking to move outside are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to operate in a high-activity, field-driven environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Experience in construction supply, industrial distribution, or related industries is a plus
