Outside Sales Representative – Flat Roll Steel

Location: East Tennessee

Most strong reps in the steel industry aren’t actively looking — but they’ll take notice when the right territory and support are in place.

A growing steel service center is adding an Outside Sales Rep in East Tennessee to take ownership of a defined territory and build out a book within the flat roll space.

What This Role Looks Like:

  • Full ownership of a regional territory with opportunity to grow a book
  • Selling flat roll products (HR, CR, galvanized, coated) into OEMs, fabricators, and manufacturers
  • Heavy focus on new business development alongside account management
  • High activity role — consistent customer visits, jobsite presence, and prospecting
  • Direct involvement in pricing, quoting, and customer strategy

What They’re Looking For:

  • Experience selling flat roll steel through a service center or metals distributor
  • Proven ability to win new business and develop accounts
  • Strong relationships within manufacturing or fabrication customers
  • Self-sufficient, driven, and comfortable operating in the field
