Maintenance Technician

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support a growing industrial manufacturing operation in Shelbyville, Indiana. This is a strong opportunity for hands-on maintenance professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, repairing equipment, supporting production, and working in a fast-paced plant environment where no two days are the same.

The team is looking for technicians with strong electrical fundamentals, mechanical aptitude, motor controls experience, and the ability to troubleshoot independently. This role is ideal for someone who can contribute quickly, work safely, and support equipment reliability across a busy manufacturing facility.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment
• Repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC logic, and hardware issues
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Support motor controls, industrial controls, and production equipment reliability
• Respond to emergency and unplanned repair needs to minimize downtime
• Work closely with production and maintenance leadership to keep operations running safely
• Assist with parts identification, inventory, equipment upgrades, and special maintenance projects
• Follow all plant safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Strong electrical theory knowledge
• Experience with motor controls
• Experience with pneumatics
• Industrial controls experience
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and add value quickly
• Basic computer skills for maintenance software, email, and documentation

Preferred:

• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Siemens automation experience
• Fabrication experience
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting background
• Two-year technical degree or related technical training
• Experience operating heavy machinery beyond standard warehouse forklifts

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 10-hour shifts with staggered start times
• 1st and 2nd shift opportunities available

Compensation & Benefits

Strong hourly earning potential with production-based incentives

• Total hourly rate: $40-46/hr (made up of hourly wage + production bonus)
• Expected total compensation: $95,000–$115,000 before profit sharing bonus
• Average production bonus is 145% weekly
• Average profit-sharing bonus is 15-25% annually
