We are partnered with a well-respected construction firm headquartered in Cincinnati. They are seeking a talented Preconstruction Manager/Estimator to join their elite team.

The Preconstruction Manager leads the planning and estimating phase of construction projects, ensuring alignment between design, budget, and schedule before work begins. This role collaborates closely with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to develop accurate cost estimates, evaluate constructability, and identify value engineering opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed conceptual and final cost estimates, budgets, and bid packages
• Manage the preconstruction process from initial concept through project handoff
• Coordinate with design teams to review plans, specifications, and constructability
• Lead value engineering efforts to optimize cost, schedule, and quality
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Develop and maintain project schedules during preconstruction
• Support client presentations and maintain strong stakeholder communication

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost control
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in estimating and project management software
