Crane Electrical Technician

We’re hiring a Crane Electrical Technician for a heavy industrial manufacturing operation near Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on cranes and mobile equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving motors, drives, controls, electrical circuits, and related industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot crane drive systems and electrical controls.
• Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Support equipment reliability and help maximize equipment uptime.
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Work closely with other maintenance and operations professionals to resolve equipment issues.
• Follow established safety procedures in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working with electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Experience with industrial motors, drives, controls, and electrical circuits.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting or programming experience preferred.
• Crane or mobile equipment electrical experience preferred but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a well-rounded hands-on maintenance background.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a larger maintenance organization.
