We’re hiring a Crane Electrical Technician for a heavy industrial manufacturing operation near Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial electrical professional looking to join a skilled maintenance team supporting cranes, mobile equipment, and material-handling systems. The operation utilizes industrial motors, drives, controls, PLCs, and electrical systems, giving technicians the opportunity to work with a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment.

Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on cranes and mobile equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving motors, drives, controls, electrical circuits, and related industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot crane drive systems and electrical controls.
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Support equipment reliability and help maximize equipment uptime.
- Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
- Work closely with other maintenance and operations professionals to resolve equipment issues.
- Follow established safety procedures in a heavy industrial environment.
Qualifications
- Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working with electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- Experience with industrial motors, drives, controls, and electrical circuits.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting or programming experience preferred.
- Crane or mobile equipment electrical experience preferred but not required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a well-rounded hands-on maintenance background.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a larger maintenance organization.
