Construction Project Engineer – Job Description

The Construction Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. This role works closely with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Track project progress and prepare reports
• Help manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Proficiency in project management software is a plus

Work Environment:

Combination of office and on-site work, with regular interaction in active construction settings.
