Position Overview

A highly respected, Cleveland-based general contractor with a long-standing history of success in Northeast Ohio is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex commercial construction projects. With decades of proven performance, this firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a diverse portfolio including healthcare, education, industrial, municipal, and large-scale commercial developments.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with budget, schedule, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
• Lead subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration
• Collaborate with field leadership to ensure alignment between office and jobsite operations
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and key stakeholders
• Monitor project financials including cost tracking, change orders, and forecasting
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external teams

Qualifications

• 2–10+ years of experience in project management within commercial construction
• Proven track record managing mid-to-large scale commercial projects
• Experience across sectors such as healthcare, education, industrial, or public work is highly preferred
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Sage, Bluebeam)
