THE ROLE

This is a Senior Drafter position focused on preparing accurate fabrication and erection drawings for pre-engineered metal building projects. The role also provides the opportunity to review work, support other drafters, and contribute to process improvements.

Duties & Responsibilities

•    Prepare accurate fabrication and erection drawings for moderate- to high-complexity pre-engineered metal building projects.

•    Review order documents and design packages to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, practical, and aligned with established drafting standards.

•    Review the work of other drafters and provide constructive feedback, technical guidance, and mentorship.

•    Track project hours and schedule status, communicate potential delays, and coordinate effectively with internal teams.

What We’re Looking For

Our client is interested in speaking with drafters and detailers who have experience with pre-engineered metal buildings, metal building systems, or closely related structural steel projects. AutoCAD and fabrication or erection drawing experience are preferred.
