Technical Representative

📍 Fontana, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area)

💰 $110,000 – $160,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Profit Sharing

We’re partnering with a leading steel manufacturer seeking a Technical Representative to support customers, investigate product issues, and serve as the technical bridge between customers, quality, operations, and sales.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working directly with customers and solving real-world manufacturing challenges rather than sitting behind a desk all day.

What You’ll Do

• Visit customer facilities to evaluate material and product performance
• Investigate customer claims and quality concerns
• Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions
• Work closely with quality, operations, engineering, and sales teams
• Support product trials, technical training, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline
• Manufacturing or industrial experience required
• Customer-facing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with steel, metals, coatings, quality, applications engineering, or technical service is highly desirable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
